Hi everyone!

My mom is 49 years old and she’s been taking all these types of teas for about a year now. My mom has a lot of digstive problems, and she has gone to many herbalist who give her teas for this. Many of them have given her these "slimming, diet teas" that contain laxative ingredients. My mom has no intention of losing weight, but she wants to drink the stuff so she can actually go to the bathroom. She can go on for 3-4 days without using the bathroom, which yes, I am aware- it’s bad!

We have tried foods, other medications (my mom also suffers from a kidney complication) so she can’t take many of them, especially over the counter things. I don’t know what to do, and it srot of scares me that she comes home with a different tea every month. I mean, these things are supposed to "slim" you down and get you on a diet, but I fear my mom will get sick from trying all these teas that may affect her health. Although most of the teas say "natural", "organic" "herbal" I still worry. Can anyone tell me if there’s any side effects to these teas?

Here’s some she’s recently been taking: (she sometimes mixes them after being constipated for about 3 days):

Slic Chic, you obviously did not read the question, why bother reading it if you’re not giving me an informative answer. Same goes for the third answer =/

I was just wondering if drinking the chinese teas, such as the Ballerina Tea and Slim Tea, once a week was bad for you?

I have no problems going to the bathroom, but drink it just to cleanse out my system so to say.

my face in the light sucks. when i’m in the "semi-dark"(like in the morning where there’s just some light from a closed window) my face has a nice color-not too dark and not too light. I’m afraid that if i try to get a tan, i’ll just get more freckles and i’ll get a farmer’s tan(which i don’t want). i also tend to get oily throughout the day-which leads me to always using a tissue to wipe my face. then i also have blackheads too. i heard tea helps-but what specific kind..and how? since i’m also trying to loose some weight(110lbs), i’m thinking of getting this Chinese Slim tea i found in this filippino supermarket. so i just wanna get slim + i heard that it helps the face too. i also have facial redness at some points..ahhh! it’s like the only time i look good is in my bathroom! –_–
right now, i’m using AcneFree. the cleansing, toner, and repair lotion. it does seem to be working good..but not good enough! would it be good to use another product but still use acnefree? HELP PLEASE

I’ve been taking china slim tea for about 7 months. I love the stuff. I lost weight taking it & now I can eat what I want, & still maintain my weight. It’s all herbal, with no caffiene. The tea cleanses all toxins from your body. Plus I drink plenty of water too. My doctor said I can take it everyday, but friends have concerns. They say that when I do decide to stop taking the tea, I won’t be able to go to the restroom on my own, because my body depends so much on the tea. Are they right???

I heard it makes you lose weight and makes you taller?

I’m vegan and I’m starting to eat 3 times a day, as of today. I usually eat alot, however I am not fat. But I really would love to lose some extra inches and tighten some things up a bit.. I walk on the tredmill 20 minutes a day and I drip of sweat and get sore and exhausted so that’s all I do really. Do you think this plus yoga and healthy foods will make me lose some weight fast?

I also have Herbal Slimming Tea, Ultra Slim Tea, and Thermo Slim Tea. Not sure those do much other than make me go to the bathroom alot though.

And usually when I get off the tredmill it says I burned 99 calories. Is that good?
