All right, so I’m just trying to be healthy in what I eat and fitness-wise for summer. I’m also trying to speed up my metabolism (although it’s moderately fast at the moment) and well… I suppose I just want to have clear arteries and lasting energy as I am an impossibly early riser and cannot help but go to bed quite late
Anyway…
I’m 14, 5"1 and I weigh around 48 kg (106 pounds) which is a good, fit, healthy weight for my age, and compared to most girls in my year who are 56 kg or so on average…
Today, as I am trying to space out my meals a bit as it is better for digestion, this is what I ate:
—Breakfast: Small bowl of muesli with yoghurt and two peach slices. A cup of Chinese green tea.
—Recess: An natural oats granola bar, a small watermelon and rock-melon salad and a carrot.
—Lunch: Half a carrot and philadelphia Lite sandwich and a small green apple.
—Dinner: Cup of Chinese green tea. Tuna, pasta and cheese bake.*
*Half an hour jog following, 10 or so crunches and a couple of yoga poses.
ANYHOW… So, I just want to know whether this is a good routine, whether I should cut anything out/add anything in, exercise included etc. etc…
…Also, some nights I go for a quick swim.
Thanks in advance!
****PS I did gymnastics for 5 years so I am quite muscular in some areas, especially my thighs — they are not quite noticeably large but they are quite bulky. Is there a possible way to slim them down? I know its not feasible to target one part of the body in exercise, but I did hear that swimming does the trick…
Thanks again!
