Herbal Slimming Teas
A dear friend has uncontrolled high blood pressure. He’s 28, and we don’t want to lose him! He’s taking traditional meds, exercizing and dieting, but nothing works. I’ve heard that curry tea lowers blood pressure. Do you know of a natural remedy we can give him to help his medications work better?

I don’t know if it’s a herb but hibiscus is very good for high blood pressure, and it’s a nice drink too.

Red yeast rice statin – helps with the cholesterol that can cause high blood pressure.
Also suggest he get tested for hyperinsulinemia (a pre-diabetic condition). If he tests high on a fasting blood insulin test, then that may be the underlying cause of his high blood pressure. Eating to control hyperinsulinemia (about the same diet as a diabetic), might help, if he doesn’t want to get tested.

Curry is a spice. There is alot of herbs that help high blood pressure, yet some dont mix with medicines.
I think celery may reduce blood pressure. Research first.

1.His diet must change, no salt intake salt retains water, his weight,if he is overweight get him on a diet program. Calcium Maganesim works to slow he down, Excercise and Diet is great stay with that, stress and his cholestrol must be high too. Any high energy drinks will increase his high pressure and coffee too, Good luck.

No personal experience, but my hubby takes a Magnesium and Potassium supplement daily with much success. Follow the directions on the supplement bottle and consult your pharmacist for possible interactions with meds he may already be taking. Good Luck!
